1964 Dodge D100 SWB “Hodge Podge Dodge” built on the hit show Fast N' Loud by Gas Monkey Garage!
Now here's a rare opportunity to own a piece of TV history, perhaps one of the most recognized trucks that Gas Monkey Garage has ever built on Fast N'Loud. This truck has been owned and enjoyed by the Reverend Steve Mabry and has appeared in numerous magazines, shows and occasionally in the back ground of an episode, it is now offered to you in this once in a lifetime opportunity!
One of the first builds to come out of the new shop, this 1964 Dodge D100 affectionately known as the “Hodge Podge Dodge” was documented on an episode of Fast N'Loud.
Starting with a really solid 1964 Dodge D100 that had incredible patina that only comes from years of hard work. Wanting to preserve that kick ass patina, we elected to apply a clear coat to protect it.
Attention was directed to the chassis where it was notched in the rear to achieve the killer stance you see here. A Ford 8.8 inch rear axle was utilized along with adjustable air bags to control the height. The front end received a Crown Vic front sub frame complete with Power Rack & Pinion Steering and upper and lower A Arms.
Power is supplied by LS based 5.3L V8 mated to a 4L60E Electronically controlled transmission to deliver performance as well as effortless highway cruising.
The fuel cell was relocated under the bed and a custom Magnaflow exhaust system was fabricated to complete the drivetrain. Riding on a set of custom built TSW wheels shod with 255/40R20 & 295/40R20 Toyo Proxes ST II tires completes the look.
Now a kickass truck like this deserves a kick ass interior to cruise in comfort and style. Sue from ASM performed her magic on the original bench seat, upholstering it in black leather. An Old Air Products A/C system was installed along with Auto Meter gauges and a retro Sound audio system.
While this 1964 Dodge 100 is the Steverends daily driver and it runs and drives well, it will need to be completely inspected and serviced before any extended driving to ensure safety and reliability and due to our filming schedule, we cannot perform any additional work on this truck for you SOLD AS IS/WHERE IS.
Clear title in hand, this truck is located here at the shop in Dallas Texas 75229, check with your shipper for a quote.
